Uniforms and Required Equipment
KickStarters U5/U6 Saturdays Practice/Play Program
KickStarters is a Saturday-only program for 4 and/or 5 year olds, offered at Frank Liske Park (Concord) and McAlpine Elementary School (Charlotte) Players are not assigned to teams and have a combined practice and play session on Saturday mornings.
A CSA KickStarters T-shirt will be provided to wear for your sessions and will be distributed the first day. No separate uniform purchase is required.
Other required gear, purchased from the retailer of your choice:
• Athletic Shorts in any color
• Soccer Socks in any color
• Shin Guards
• Soccer cleats (preferred) or sneakers
• Personal drink in labeled, preferably reusable container. Water is NOT available at the fields.
• Size 3 soccer ball labeled with name and phone number.
• Please wear comfortable, layered, weather-appropriate clothing!
• For safety, no jewelry (including piercings), drawstrings or metal hair accessories or clothing fasteners
U5/U6, U7/U8, and U9/U10 Teams and Junior Academy – All locations
Required Uniform and Equipment for all players registered for U5/U6, U7/U8 and U9/U10 programs at all locations and Junior Academy Players. These teams practice on a weeknight and play games on Saturdays.
REQUIRED GEAR FOR ALL PLAYERS:
All players will pick up a free white CSA T-shirt at the first practice to be worn for practices.
Purchase these items from the retailer of your choice:
• Black Athletic Shorts
• Black Soccer Socks
• Shin Guards
• Soccer cleats (preferred) or sneakers

• Soccer ball labeled with name and phone number. U6 & U8 – Size 3//U10 & U12 – Size 4

YELLOW/WHITE JERSEY KIT: REQUIRED
In most cases, you should order your uniform as soon as you register. There are some situations in which we recommend waiting. Please refer to your receipt or the parent update emails for any program -specific recommendations. These items will have a minimum two-week preparation time. Expedited shipping will not improve your delivery date. We recommend ordering no later than August 1st.
A uniform kit including one yellow jersey and one white jersey must be purchased from soccer.com. If you have already purchased CSA yellow and white jerseys, you can continue to use them!
This uniform has been in use since Fall 2024; current plans are to continue to use this set through Spring 2027. Approximate Cost $60 plus plus shipping. There are no numbers on the jerseys!
Please note, jerseys are NOT returnable. Don’t rely on the height and weight chart, instead, refer to the measurement chart to compare jersey measurements to items that your player already wears! A video on choosing the fit is available on the soccer.com ordering page.
