July Players of the Month

Congratulations to our OrthoCarolina Players of the Month for July!

Ayman Maadir, 05/04 National Academy ECNL: Ayman is truly a fantastic young man who is always concerned how others are doing before himself. He is a great student and a super family guy. His soccer abilities are also up there with the best and he never complains, always listens and delivers on the field of play on a consistent basis. His passing range is of the highest order and he dictates games through his understanding of the game and his eagerness to win and succeed. This year he had a great final season with the U19 team and then he went on to be a very productive member of the UPSL squad and to top it off this year, he broke into the Charlottetowne Hops NPSL squad and became a permanent starter in the newly formed team that finished 3rd in the league. We wish Ayman the very best as he joins Davidson College in August!

Jaida McGrew, 06 National ECNL:
Jaida was instrumental in our U17 Girls ECNL team’s run in the ECNL Playoffs and ECNL Finals. Ultimately, the team finished 5th in the U17 age group in the very difficult ECNL. During the 6-game Playoff run in San Diego (Playoffs) and Richmond (Finals), Jaida tallied 5 goals and 4 assists for her team. This lead to the team winning 5 out of 6 games against some VERY tough competition at the highest level.

Fiona Stewart, 11 Matthews King:
Fiona is a leader on our 11 CSA Matthews King G team and displays a fantastic work ethic at all sessions and matches. She works hard on her own to continue to improve and it shows in her development as a player. Fiona always has a positive attitude and is a positive leader on her team.

Renner Talleri, 13 Charlotte Pre-ECNL:
Renner has worked really hard over the summer, participating in a number of camps and training programs to help develop his game. He always shows a good attitude, works very hard, listens well and is very coachable. He has made good progress improving his skills due to these character traits.
