Register now for tryouts for our rising 16U-19U girls teams, including our Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) National and Regional League teams, National League (NL) teams, and our USYS Classic teams. All other age groups will try out in May. Information for May tryouts will be posted in late March.

Registration Information

Important Notes for All Tryout Registrations!
CSA is moving to a new registration platform: LeagueApps. In effect for all tryout registrations – all families must use the registration link in the dropdown list to begin registration by creating a new account in the LeagueApps system during registration. Be prepared to upload your player’s birth certificate or passport!

US Youth Soccer is returning to seasonal-year age divisions for 2026-2027. New age ranges are listed below. Players must register in their true age group. All requests to register for an older age group must be approved by the DOC in advance. If you have questions, please reach out to your Director of Coaching.
    • 19U: 8/1/2007-7/31/2008
    • 18U: 8/1/2008-7/31/2009
    • 17U: 8/1/2009-7/31/2010
    • 16U: 8/1/2010-7/31/2011

All players, new and returning, are required to attend tryouts to be considered for placement on a CSA team. We strongly recommend attending both scheduled sessions for your tryout group. If the player has a schedule conflict, please register for tryouts and contact your coach or DOC with the information and plan to attend as much of each session possible.

Teams for each section/program will be selected from the tryout registrations for that section. You must attend tryouts for the section/program where you wish to play on a team. Please register for only one tryout program. If you plan to attend more than one tryout, register for the highest level program.

ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 4th

Online registration is $35 if registered and paid by the deadline listed.
Walk up registration is available at the field for $50. Credit or Debit card payment preferred.

Refund Policy: Refund for tryout fees must be requested by email and are subject to a $25 administrative fee. No refunds after the close of online registration.

ECNL National Tryouts

The U16-U19 ECNL National Girls Tryouts is an invitation-only program. You must have a code to complete registration.

• Current CSA ECNL National players will receive an invitation with the code from your Program Director.
• All other CSA players wishing to attend ECNL National tryouts should reach out to their DOC to discuss playing at the ECNL level.
• USYS players new to CSA wanting to request a code for ECNL assessments, please send your resume to the Program Director for the program you would like to try-out for.

Due to the ECNL recruiting rules, if you are currently registered for the 2025-2026 ECNL season with another club you cannot attend these ECNL tryouts that CSA is holding in February.

Goalkeepers: In addition to the required tryout sessions above, Charlotte Soccer Academy will offer optional pre-try out goalkeeping nights at OrthoCarolina Sportsplex to allow goalkeepers to participate in structured sessions with our goalkeeping directors separate from tryouts. The sessions will not only allow for the evaluation of players but ultimately prepare them for their respective tryouts. Information about the sessions will be provided to all goalkeepers registered by January 23rd.

The U16-U19 NL Program Tryouts is an invitation-only program. A registration code is required.

• Current CSA NL players will receive an invitation with the code from your Program Director.
• All other CSA players wishing to attend NL tryouts should reach out to their DOC to discuss playing at the DPL level.
• Interested players that are not currently playing with CSA must submit a brief resume to the director listing below prior to registering.
